We have found the Nest Bedding Starling to sleep very temperature neutral, making it a great mattress for all weathers and body temperatures. |
Blot fresh stains with a clean cloth, fresh water, and a mild detergent. Do not rub stains to avoid spreading them, and ensure the mattress is dry prior to covering it with sheets again. As always, we recommend protecting your mattress investment with a mattress protector. |
We recommend the Nest Bedding Starling for all side sleepers and nearly all back sleepers, unless you require more firmness for back or joint problems. Stomach sleepers under 180 lbs may find the Starling comfortable, though we typically recommend a firmer mattress for stomach sleepers. |

Edge Support
While the Nest Bedding Starling does not have zoned foam, or reinforced-edge coils, we have found the edge support to be excellent in the Nest Bedding Starling. We have not had any feeling of rolling off and felt that we could sleep from edge to edge.
Maintenance & Durability
Proper maintenance is crucial for extending the lifespan of your mattress. While the Nest Bedding Starling is designed with a removable cover, it should not be washed in the washing machine. Simply blot the stain while still fresh, with a clean cloth, water, and mild detergent. Do not rub the stain as it could spread, and ensure not to over-saturate the stain with water and let fully dry before replacing your bedding.
Regularly rotating your mattress (every three to six months) is recommended to prevent uneven wear. Never flip your mattress as it is built with a specific foam order.
