Hybrid mattresses generally sleep cooler than foam mattresses, as air is able to easily flow through the mattress' coil layer. Additionally, on the medium-firm side of the mattress is a cooling-gel foam layer, which further helps keep sleepers cool. On the firm-side of the mattress, we did not notice any hot sleep, as plenty of air flows through the coils, located just 2 inches underneath the sleepers. |

Motion transfer on the Nest Bedding Raven isn’t fantastic. Not bad, but we have seen better. While the individually wrapped pocketed coils do absorb a lot of the motion, the thin couple of inches of foam on either sides of the coils, keep this mattress from receiving a great score for motion transfer.
While your partner’s movement won’t wake you up in most cases, if you are very sensitive to movement, or if one partner moves heavily, you may feel some motion.
Edge Support
The pocketed coils are designed with stronger coils along the perimeter of the mattress. This extra support allows sleepers to sleep from edge to edge, without the feeling of rolling off. It increasing the sleeping surface by about 20%, making the Nest Bedding Raven a great mattress when sleeping with a partner (or a pet)!
Additionally, the extra edge support makes it easier to sit on the edge of the way, for easy ways in and out of bed.

As the Nest Bedding Raven’s mattress cover isn’t removable, you will care for your mattress as you would for most others.
