We have been testing those sheets for several weeks and there is no pilling whatsoever, and we have noticed an increase in comfort after washes.

The fiber is certified organic and grown ethically in India. Farmers and producers on those farms, use no pesticides, bleach, or other cheap and harmful additives like microplastics, in the processing of the fiber into the final product. The closed-loop manufacturing process uses a lot less water than regular cotton, lowering the impact on the planet and local communities.
We will discuss softness and temperature in the paragraphs below, however, organic cotton is a material that naturally helps regulate your body temperature, thanks to its natural breathability. It sleeps temperature neutral, feels very soft, is hypoallergenic, clean, and much softer on the planet than cotton or polyester. We also love that the washing process increases the softness of both products.
Here are little extras we loved about the Nest Bedding bedding sets: you will find a sleeve in the pillowcases and pillow shams, to ensure your pillows do not slide out of their covers. The buttons on the duvet cover are made of wood, adding to the natural feel of the sets, but designed to be invisible, with a beautiful finish to the cover. You will find loops inside the duvet cover, to secure the cover to your comforter and keep it in place overnight. Lastly, the opening on the duvet cover is the widest we have ever tested, making it a breeze to slide the comforter inside of it!

Softness
All products in the Nest Bedding organic cotton bedding line sleep buttery soft. The longer fiber of the organic cotton creates products that sleep softer and last longer. Additionally, the cotton is sateen weaved, which uses a 3-under-1-over weaving pattern that makes the fabric luxuriously soft.
We honestly find it hard to come out of bed in the morning, and very much look forward to laying in softness at night. It is the coziest kind of softness, which, unlike silk, does not feel cold and crisp. Instead, expect luxurious sheets with softness that keeps on giving! And because of the organic cotton’s properties, expect your sheets to get softer with every wash!
We love that the Nest Bedding organic cotton sheets withstand the test of time. There is virtually no pilling and you can enjoy all of the softness for years and years.
Temperature
This is where organic cotton shines! It is thermo-regulating, meaning that by wicking away your body’s extra moisture while you sleep, your body is able to keep the perfect temperature for sleep. If you are a hot sleeper, you will not sweat and will find that you keep cool at night. On cold nights, however, the Nest Bedding sheets will keep you sleeping warm and cozy thanks to the cotton’s temperature-regulating properties.

How Do I Care For The Nest Bedding Sheets And Duvet Cover?
The organic cotton used in the Nest Bedding sheets gets softer with every wash, if you take good care of them. While they are easy to care for, you should follow the following instructions.
Wash in your washing machine, in cold water. If you inadvertently use the cotton cycle, you will still be fine, but cold water will prolong the life of your bedding. If you have a delicates setting, that will work even better.
It is best to wash your sheets on their own, and not mix them with other materials (regular cotton, polyester…), to protect the fibers. Make sure to never add bleach, fabric softener, or harsh detergent.
Once washed, dry on low tumble.
Nothing hard – just separate, wash on cold, mild detergent, and dry on low tumble!
Note that organic cotton is hypoallergenic and antibacterial, so they repel dust mites, mold, and mildew. Because of those properties, the Nest Bedding sheets and duvet cover can go a couple more days between washes, saving you time, energy, and water.
