Pillow Guy Review

pillow guy bag

Pillow Guy has a fun marketing plan. Not only fun, but funny. I giggle every single time I read the flyer or notes that come with the sheet set and pillow, even when you go to their website and think HOW COME I DIDN’T THINK OF THIS? This is hilarious! For example ” Get your sheet together” or “Sheet happens” and much more, seriously how funny is this?

Now back to the box. Inside of it there’s their Soft & Smooth Sheet set in Cadet Blue – I love this color BTW – it’s always nice to break out from your boring colors and try something fresh, like this one – and a Side sleeper Down Alternative Pillow. A Pillow to fit your sleeping preference! I am game. Also there’s a drawstring bag made with recyclable materials. This bag can come in handy if you are traveling or on the road and want to take along your favorite set of sheets or pillow. I love this idea! It’s super efficient and smart.

Pillow Guy Video Review

What's Inside?

If you are looking for something unique, fresh, clean and keeps you COOL, you should definitely check out Pillow Guy wide bedding collection . But in the meantime I will share some details with you:

1. 100% MICRO-TENCEL™ 600 Thread Count

If there is one Pillow Guy product I would push you to try, it’s their 100% MicroTENCEL Sheets, these are the SH@&!!

Here’s why… PURE COMFORT – TENCEL fabric is more absorbent than cotton, softer than silk and cooler than linen. This softness is because it has a very smooth surface up close. This not only feels good, but also makes it very non-irritating even to sensitive skin. It’s a fabric made out of cellulose from wood – more specifically, eucalyptustrees.

MOST ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY SHEETS ON THE MARKET!

Because their Tencel is sourced from renewable Eucalyptus trees. No harm done to the trees whatsoever because they will grow back. Furthermore, TENCEL is made with a closed loop process. In this, loose fibers are recycled back into the material, meaning it’s a very low waste method of creating fabric.

Tencel helps in so many ways providing you the best sleep of your life, it’s SUPER HYGENIC & COOL  absorbing moisture away from your body.

2. Sateen Weave

Well hello Sateen weave, never to be confused with SATIN (that shiny silky stuff). I try to avoid Satin honestly when it comes to me personally choosing my covers and mattress cover, they are annoyingly slippery. On the other hand, the sateen weave has a luxurious look, silky-soft feel and luminous sheen. Sateen is more tightly woven and heavier in weight than other materials making it softer and warmer.

Pillow Guy Luxe Soft & Smooth Sheets and Duvet Sets are made using the Sateen weave.

3. Single Ply MICRO-TENCEL® Yarn

Besides natural fibers, Pillow Guy uses just Single Ply. It’s what produce the longest, strongest and finest fibers in the world. That’s a great sign, this means your investment is going to last longer.

4. Natural Fibers

Turned out Pillow Guy uses natural fibers only. You can absolutely feel this stuff in their products!

Living in a world nowadays where most materials are synthetic we should realize by now natural fibers are good for us as well as the environment.

Natural fibers ‘breathe’, keeping you comfortable in hot weather by absorbing perspiration and releasing it into the air.

5. Breathable

No one wants to sweat at night, it’s wet, disturbing, and not fun. That’s what makes Pillow Guy different. They chose a breathable type of fabric that allows for maximum air flow.

PG in your room means #NoSweat  ( I just made this up, so fitting).

The Pillow Guy luxurious bedding collection comes in a variety of sizes making your shopping experience easy. They carry them in Full, Queen, King and Cal King.

Pillow Guy Sleep Tests

• Only con is that they are too good you want to stay in bed all day! So might as well call in sick and binge watch your favorite show under those sheets. (Or whatever you feel like doing involving staying in bed enjoying your PG collection).

  1. I ordered three sets of sheets in queen size. I opened one, washed them and they came out of the dryer a wrinkled mess. I thought they were supposed to be shiny sheeny sheets. I know I cannot return the set that I opened and washed, but I am definitely returning the other two sets.

    1. Hi Gailene, the material is naturally wrinkled. It is best to remove it from the dryer as soon as it is dry and immediately fold, to reduce wrinkage. As you start using them, you will notice wrinkles getting better compared to when you take them straight out of the dryer.

  2. Don’t bother ordering these sheets unless you like to iron. Wrinkles. When they arrived and more wrinkled after washing and drying. Shame on you Pillow Guy. You should at least acknowledge that these dream sheets will have to be ironed if they are used. Shame, shame.

    1. Hi Jean, have you tried washing and drying your sheets on their own and taking them out of the dryer as soon as the cycle ends? For perfect looking sheets, I agree that they should be ironed (as should any sheets you want to look smooth), but you definitely shouldn’t have to iron those if you are able to take them out of the dryer at the end of the cycle. Washing and drying on their own is also recommended, to lengthen the life of the sheets, and prevent excessive wrinkles.
