We cannot rate it as we rate adult mattresses, however, one side is quite firm, designed for newborns as a safe surface for sleep. The other side is noticeably softer, making it more comfortable for toddlers, as they now know how to turn their bodies around on their own and it is safe for them to sleep on a softer surface. |
Thanks to its organic cotton mattress cover and open-cell foam, the Lullaby Earth Crib Mattress is fairly breathable. Of course, the waterproofing layer takes away some of the breathability, but in order to counteract, Lullaby Earth has designed a 3-D cover that lets plenty of air pass through between baby and mattress. We have not noticed our toddler sweating on the mattress. |
