1.5″ Gel Memory Foam: Below the cooling cover lies a layer of gel-infused memory foam. This layer is specifically designed to provide targeted pressure relief, contouring to the body’s natural curves while simultaneously pulling heat away from the sleeper. It uses an open-cell design, which means that the foam layer is pierced by millions of little holes, letting air move freely to draw away hot body air, and bring in cool air into the Ghost Ice Cover.
2″ Ghost Flex Transition Foam: This layer acts as a transition between the plush top layers and the supportive high-density foam below. It helps to distribute body weight evenly across the mattress, preventing pressure points and ensuring a smooth transition from the softer top layers to the firmer core. It is built with “bounce”, allowing the layer to quickly bounce back into its original position once the body moves to a new position. This makes tossing and turning easier, and sleepers never have the feeling of “being stuck” in their mattress.
6.5″ High-Density Base Foam: The bottom layer is made of high-density foam, providing a durable foundation for the mattress.
