Aeptom is a really cool brand we have come to love. All of their bedding is impeccably manufactured, using higher-end raw materials, and making consumers’ lives easier and more comfortable.
The Aeptom Tencel Lyocell Comforter was designed to meet the needs of hot sleepers, or sleepers of hot climates. It does an excellent job at breathability and not trapping any of the heat. During our sleeping tests, the comforter reacted really well. We tested it on very hot nights with limited temperature control, and did not sleep hot or sweat. The light weight and natural materials truly make for a great summer blanket
As added bonus, the eucalyptus comforter is incredibly soft, transforming the sleeping experience into a haven of softness.

Aeptom is an American bedding company. They have three lines of products: bamboo, silk, and eucalyptus. Their goal? To make luxury items accessible.
The founder of Aeptom realized that, when purchasing expensive items, you pay for the brand, not the quality of the items. The items, even if high-quality, do not have to be as expensive as they are.
From there, Aeptom’s founder decided to create luxury items, focusing on the quality of its raw materials and craftsmanship, as well as sustainability, by partnering closely with manufacturers and suppliers. The brand focuses on exception bedding in plain colors (only), while keeping prices affordable so more people can sleep in luxury bedding!
What Is Inside The Aeptom Tencel Lyocell Comforter?
The Aeptom Tencel Lyocell Comforter is made of two parts: its cover and the filling. Both are made of 100% eucalyptus lyocell, a natural fiber derived from the pulp of eucalyptus trees.
Eucalyptus lyocell is a sustainable option as the trees don’t need to be cut down to harvest their pulp, they are naturally insect repellent and require less pesticides and chemicals in their growing, and the processing of the pulp into fiber uses less water than cotton. Additionally, Aeptom uses a closed-loop manufacturing system where most of the water and solvents are reused during production.
The comforter cover is built using the sateen weave, which is a weaving technique that yields a softer, slightly thicker, fabric, with a luxurious sheen. We love that weaving technique as it makes a huge difference in the way the product looks and feels.
Inside the cover, the filling is made of 100% eucalyptus filling as well, which gives a very soft and cozy feel to the comforter. We never thought that having a soft comforter would make much of a difference, since it ends up inside a duvet cover, but it turns out it really does!
Here’s a little extra we loved about the Aeptom Tencel Lyocell Comforter: you will find 8 loops – 1 on each corner, and 1 in the center of each side – that align with the ties of the Aeptom duvet cover and allow you to tie the two together so the comforter does not slide to one side of the duvet cover over night.
How Does The Aeptom Tencel Lyocell Comforter Sleep?
Softness
Thanks to the eucalyptus lyocell used to make the comforter, which in itself it very soft, and the special sateen weave used to create the comforter cover, the outside of the Aeptom Tencel Lyocell Comforter is super soft to the touch.
Inside the cover, the filling is made of 100% eucalyptus lyocell as well, which adds some fluff and coziness to the comforter.
Overall, even though you will likely be covering the comforter with a duvet cover, it adds a good amount of cozy softness to your sleep, which is quite impressive.
Temperature
Eucalyptus lyocell is naturally thermo-regulating, meaning that by wicking away your body moisture while you sleep, your body is able to keep the perfect temperature to sleep.
Eucalyptus is also a breathable material that lets air flow through, preventing your body from overheating. If you are a hot sleeper, you will not sweat and will find that you keep cool at night. On cold nights, however, the Aeptom Tencel Lyocell Comforter will keep you sleeping warm and cozy thanks to the eucalyptus’s natural temperature-regulating properties.
Lastly, the light weight of the comforter plays another big role in ensuring that your body’s heat does not get trapped between mattress and comforter. And the fact that the filling is stitched inside smaller pockets makes for a very even temperature throughout the night.
