The SweetNight Dreamy Mattress is an all memory foam mattress designed to ensure comfort, support, and durability. It is available in two thickness options: 10-inch and 12-inch, catering to various comfort preferences and budgets. We tested the 12-inch Queen for the purpose of this review.
Here’s a closer look at the different layers making up the SweetNight Dreamy Mattress, assuming the Soft Side is up (this is a dual-firmness flippable mattress):
Skin-Friendly Mattress Cover
The mattress features a premium, skin-friendly knitted cover that enhances both comfort and modern aesthetics. We found the breathable fabric to promote airflow, allowing temperature regulation throughout the night. Additionally, the cover meets the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certification, ensuring it is free from harmful substances and safe for direct contact with the skin.
Gel Memory Foam
Beneath the cover lies a first foam layer of gel-infused memory foam. This layer serves a dual purpose: it conforms to the body’s contours, providing personalized pressure relief, and it dissipates body heat, maintaining a cool sleeping environment and helping your body regulate its own temperature.
The gel infusion helps pull away and dissipate your body’s heat, preventing heat retention commonly associated with traditional memory foam mattresses.
Contouring Curve™ Foam
The Contouring Curve™ foam layer is engineered to adapt to the body’s natural curves, offering targeted support and pressure relief. This adaptive foam ensures that heavier body parts, such as the hips and shoulders, receive deeper pressure relief, while lighter body parts receive more support, promoting proper spinal alignment and reducing the risk of discomfort or pain.
Contouring Curve™ Bamboo Foam
At the base of the mattress is the Contouring Curve™ bamboo foam. This high-density foam provides foundational support, enhancing the mattress’s durability and stability. The inclusion of bamboo in the foam composition adds natural antimicrobial properties, contributing to a healthier sleep environment.
The main purpose of this layer is to provide the entire body with support. The high-pressure area find a firmer surface in this layer, ensuring they are supported after the deep pressure relief from upper foams.
This is also the top layer of the firm side of the mattress. While the SweetNight Dreamy Mattress is advertised as a flippable mattress, we have never tested a mattress with no comfort foam layers under the body. If you flip this mattress onto its firm side, your body will lay directly on this high-density foam, which we do not recommend, unless you require a very firm mattress with virtually no pressure relief.
Breathable Knitted Fabric
Encasing the bottom of the SweetNight Dreamy Mattress is a breathable knitted fabric that not only adds to the mattress’s luxurious feel but also promotes continuous airflow. This design feature helps in maintaining an optimal sleeping temperature, ensuring sleepers remain comfortable throughout the night.

While the SweetNight Dreamy Mattress is advertised as a flippable mattress, we only recommend sleeping on the Soft side, as the Firm side does not provide the comfort layers needed for pressure relief. Note that, thanks to the Curve design of the bamboo foam layer, rotating the mattress by 180 degrees gives you an easy way to increase the firmness level to about 6.5/10. |
The mattress’ knitted cover and air-flow gel-infused and bamboo foam layers work well together to draw out excess body heat and dissipate it, effectively helping the body auto-regulate its own temperature. We found the SweetNight Dreamy Mattress to sleep fairly temperature neutral. |
Blot fresh stains with a clean cloth, fresh water, and a mild detergent. Do not rub stains to avoid spreading them, and ensure the mattress is dry prior to covering it with sheets again. As always, we recommend protecting your mattress investment with a mattress protector. |
We recommend the SweetNight Dreamy Mattress for most side sleepers. Those below 180 lbs will enjoy the deep pressure relief, while those above that weight may prefer to rotate the mattress by 180 degrees to benefit from a thicker layer of support under their upper body and a slightly firmer sleep surface. |
As with most modern mattresses, the SweetNight Dreamy mattress can be placed on any bed frame – box springs, divan bases, traditional frames, slats, adjustable bases, and even the floor will do! It works really well with bunk beds as well. |
Firmness
One of the standout features of the SweetNight Dreamy Mattress is its flippable design, offering two distinct firmness levels in a single mattress, though reading this section further, you will understand that we do not recommend sleeping on its Firm side.
Soft Side: 5.5/10 Firmness
We rated the soft side of the mattress a 5.5 out of 10 on the firmness scale, providing a rather soft sleeping experience with loads of pressure relief.
This side is ideal for side sleepers under 180 lbs, and individuals with a strong personal preference for a plush, enveloping sensation. The combination of gel memory foam and Contouring Curve™ foam on this side offers excellent and deep pressure relief, cradling the body’s curves and alleviating stress on pressure points in the shoulders and hips of side sleepers.
While we recommend the SweetNight Dreamy Mattress to side sleepers, we think it is a best fit for those under 180 lbs. Above that, your body may require a little extra support to ensure your spine in aligned and laying in a healthy position. If you are a heavier side sleeper, try to rotate the mattress by 180 degrees, in order for the Contour Curve design to provide more of the high-density foam layer under your upper body. We’ve rated that configuration a 6.5/10 on the firmness scale.
Firm Side: Not Recommended for Regular Sleep
While the mattress does offer a firmer side, we do not recommend it for regular sleep as it lacks the comfort layers present on the soft side.
This side may be suitable for individuals who prefer an exceptionally firm surface or for specific therapeutic needs, but for most side sleepers, the soft side will provide the optimal balance of comfort and support. If you are a back or stomach sleeper, look into the SweetNight Prime Mattress instead.
Temperature Regulation
Temperature regulation is a critical aspect of sleep quality, and the SweetNight Dreamy Memory Foam Mattress addresses this through several features:
Gel-Infused Memory Foam: The gel particles embedded in the memory foam enhance heat dissipation by pulling the heat from the body and dissipating it through the layer. It prevents the mattress from becoming uncomfortably warm, which is a common complaint amongst all-foam mattresses.

The combination of memory foam layers absorb and isolate motion exceptionally well, preventing disturbances from one side of the bed to transfer to the other. This ensures that partners can move or get up without disrupting each other’s sleep – great when sleeping with a moving partner, a pet, or a child.
Performance Test Results
In our sleep tests, the SweetNight Dreamy Mattress exhibited extremely low motion transfer. We can recommend it for undisturbed sleep even for light sleepers.
Maintenance & Durability
Proper maintenance can extend the lifespan of your SweetNight Twilight Mattress. Here are some tips:
Use a Mattress Protector: Protect the mattress from spills and stains with a high-quality waterproof protector.
Rotate Regularly: Rotate the mattress every 3-6 months to ensure even wear and maintain support. Only, do not flip the mattress, as it is built with a specific order of layers to ensure healthy sleep positions.
Spot Clean: Clean stains and spills promptly with a clean cloth, mild detergent, and water by blotting the stain. Do not rub it to avoid it spreading, and avoid over-saturating the mattress with water, letting it fully dry before adding your sheets back on.
Air Out Periodically: Allow the mattress to breathe by uncovering it occasionally to release trapped odors or moisture, especially if you are a hot sleeper or live in a warm and/or humid climate.
Who Is The SweetNight Dreamy Mattress Good For?
