Natural Form Mattresses - The Line Up
The Natural Form Garden mattress is the entry product of the mattress lineup. Priced cheaper than the Refresh and Euro, it is 10 inches thick, the firmest mattress, features 8 active patented air chambers per side (16 total), that respond to your body’s movement and pressure, a Merino wool cover, and the dual-sided Natural Form hand dial to control firmness.
The Natural Form Refresh mattress finds itself in the middle of the price range. Eleven inches thick, it boasts 32 to 40 air chambers per side (64 to 80 total) for more response and personalization, a Merino wool cover, and the dual-sided Natural Form hand dial to control firmness.
The Natural Form Euro mattress is the most expensive and thicker mattress of the line up. Twelve inches thick thanks to an extra inch of foam in its euro-top, it sleeps a little softer than the Garden and Refresh. The Euro comes with 32 to 40 air chambers per side (64 to 80 total), a Merino wool cover, and the dual-sided Natural Form hand dial to control firmness.

As we are reviewing three mattresses of the same brand, we will find many similarities in company policies and how the mattresses are manufactured:
- All 3 Natural Form mattresses are built in a similar way: a thick Merino wool mattress cover, an encased layer of air chambers, and dual-sided dials to customize the firmness and pressure relief of each side of the bed
- All mattresses are excellent at helping the body regulate its own temperature, thanks to the thick layer of natural wool and the air naturally flowing through the air chambers. The Merino wool, which is ethically-sourced in Australia, is naturally breathable and moisture-wicking, which provides a warm night of sleep on chilly night, and cool sleep on warm nights. Great for hot sleepers and couples with different preferences

While very similar in the materials and way they are built, the Natural Form mattresses do sleep differently and offer different benefits to different sleepers:
- Price is a big difference. Though all three Natural Form mattress are priced at the top of the price range, the Natural Form Garden is $1,000 cheaper as a Queen, than the Natural Form Euro. The Refresh sits in the middle
- The Garden mattress uses a slightly differently built air zones, with only 8 air zones underneath each sleeper (16 in total), which makes the customization of the support and pressure relief less finer than in the Refresh and Euro, where each sleeper benefits from 32 to 40 air zones, depending on the size you purchase
- The Natural Form Euro is not more expensive without a reason. It is a truly luxury mattress with a thick euro-top and an extra 1 inch in foam layer, making it plusher and more contouring than the Garden and Refresh
- The Natural Form Garden is slightly firmer than the other two, making it slightly better for sex, those who toss and turn, and combo sleepers, and a better option for heavier folks and those with back pain
- If you are a stomach sleeper, the Natural Form Garden and Refresh will be your better option

Natural Form Mattress Reviews - Prices & Discounts
Natural Form mattresses are set up as a growing line up, that offers more customization and thicker materials as you go up the range:
– The entry-level Garden mattress is priced lower than the other two, due to its fewer air chambers, allowing for less customization in pressure relief and support
– The Natural Form Refresh mattress is priced in the middle of the range as it is built similarly to the Garden, but includes the premium layer of air chambers for fine tuning of the firmness for both sleepers
– Lastly, the Natural Form Euro is priced at the top of the range, as it is a thicker, more luxurious mattress, with the premium layer of air chambers you can find in the Refresh
All mattresses are available in the standard sizes: Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, and California King. You can order Split sizes in King and California King, which are cheaper than purchasing 2 Twin XL’s – not all brands give you a discount, so take advantage.
Note that only the Natural Form Refresh is available in Olympic Queen. It is a 66 x 80 inch mattress, which is 6 inches wider than a regular Queen mattress.

Let’s take a look at the three Natural Form mattresses on a more detailed level, as we compare the Natural Form Garden vs. Refresh vs. Euro:
Firmness / Feel
The Natural Form Garden is the firmest of the lineup. On the Optimum setting, we rated it a 7/10 on the firmness scale, making it a little firmer than that average mattress.
Use the dial to soften the Garden to a 5.5/10, or harden it to an 8/10.
This makes the Natural Form Garden mattress very versatile and a good option for couples with different firmness preferences.
The Natural Form Refresh mattress is a tad bit softer than the Garden. Its Optimum setting puts it at 6.5/10, which is the average firmness in the mattress industry.
The dial allows you to adjust the firmness between 5/10 on the Soft side and 7.5/10 on the Firm side.
The Natural Form Refresh is another versatile mattress, though with more softer options than firm.
The Natural Form Euro mattress is the softest of the three, with an Optimum setting of 6/10, which is below firmness average.
The dial allows you to control the firmness of the Euro between 4.5/10 and 7/10. It is considered a soft mattress and will be idea for those enjoy a bit of a sink and cozy contouring.

Let’s take a look at what makes up the 10 inches of Garden mattress:
The Natural Form Garden’s mattress cover is made of a thick layer of ethically-sourced Australian Merino wool. Unlike most other mattresses on the market, we are not talking about wool fibers weaved into the mattress cover. We are talking about thick, visible wool, stitched on top of the mattress cover. Antimicrobial, hypoallergenic, chemical-free, and naturally temperature-regulating, it allows the body to sleep at the optimal temperature no matter the weather, and is a great option for those suffering from allergies, skin and hair conditions, and asthma.
The comfort layer is 3 inches of CertiPUR-US certified foam, which provides pressure relief to the high-pressure areas in the hips and shoulders, no matter your sleep position. While it is contouring and plush, it boasts enough responsiveness to never give you the feeling of being stuck.
The Garden has 16 patented air chambers, divided as 8 air chambers underneath each sleeper’s body. Those inflate or deflate with air using the dial on either sides of the mattress, to provide responsive support to the entire body and ensure your spine lays aligned and supported.
Around the air chambers are a couple inches of foam, as well as a perimeter foam encasement, to provide cushioning for the air chambers to decompress into, added stability, and the feeling of a wider sleep area.
The Natural Form Refresh mattress is 11 inches thick, or an inch thicker than the Garden, due to a thicker air chamber layer:
Its mattress cover is the same than the Garden’s cover, made of thick natural Merino wool, great for regulating the body temperature and for its hypoallergenic properties.
The comfort layer is the same as the Garden’s layer, made of 3 inches of CertiPUR-US certified foam, it provides a first layer of decompression, contouring, and pressure relief.
The only layer to differ from the Natural Form Garden mattress is the air chamber layer. Instead of 16 chambers, the Natural Form Refresh mattress has 64 to 80 patented air chambers (or 32 to 40 under each sleeper). With that many chambers, you are able to truly get customized sleep. Each chamber responds to your body’s shape and weight, providing support or pressure relief, as you need it. You can inflate or deflate the air chambers to achieve a firmer or softer sleeping surface.
Around the air chambers are a couple inches of foam, as well as a perimeter foam encasement, to provide cushioning for the air chambers to decompress into, added stability, and the feeling of a wider sleep area.
The Natural Form Euro mattress is 12 inches thick, with one main difference laying in its comfort layer:
The Merino wool cover is the same as the one you will find in the Garden and Refresh mattresses, with the same properties and design. Machine-washable, it helps your body regulate its temperature and is an hypoallergenic material to sleep on.
The main difference between the Refresh and the Euro is its thick euro-top underneath the cover. Instead of 3 inches, the Natural Form Euro mattress boasts 4 inches of CertiPUR-US certified foam. This thick layer forms the mattress’ euro top, which gives an outlet for your body to sink in, relieving it of its pressure and providing cozy contouring at the same time.
The Euro mattress features the same 64 to 80 patented air chambers as the Refresh, giving you the ultimate control in firmness and a perfect mix of support and pressure relief.
Lastly, the mattress boasts a few inches of foam on either sides of the air chambers, as well as a perimeter of foam encasement, which provides cushioning for the air chambers, stability, and the feeling of a wider sleep area.
Sleeping Styles
Being the firmest of the three Natural Form mattresses, the Garden mattress is the best option for heavier folks and those suffering from back pain. Let’s take a look at sleep positions:
Side sleepers: we recommend the Natural Form Garden to side-sleepers under 200 lbs, and on a setting between Soft and Optimum, to provide enough pressure relief for the hip and shoulder areas
Back sleepers: the Garden provides the support and pressure relief important to align the spine of back sleepers, without compromising cozy comfort
Stomach sleepers: stomach sleepers will sleep very comfortably on the Natural Form Garden when dialed up to the Firmer end of the range, finding enough support to align their spine and give the sleeper a feeling of sleeping on top of the mattress
In the middle of Natural Form firmness range, the Refresh is the most versatile of the three mattresses, virtually working for all sleeping styles:
Side sleepers: side sleepers will enjoy the Refresh anywhere between Optimum and Soft, finding enough pressure relief to prevent pains and aches in the shoulders and hips
Back sleepers: back sleepers will find the right balance of pressure relief and support anywhere around the Optimum setting
Stomach sleepers: stomach sleepers can dial up closer to Firm to find the right firmness to ensure their hips do not sink in too far or bend in a painful position
The softest of the Natural Form mattresses, the Euro is great for sleepers looking for a luxurious sink with slightly more contouring and reminiscent of luxury hotels:
Side sleepers: side sleepers will love the extra cushioning and sink they get in the Euro. Heavier side sleepers will probably want to dial to Optimum or even up towards Firm to ensure enough firmness supports their body
Back sleepers: back sleepers will do really well on the Optimum setting, with heavier back sleepers potentially needing to dial up towards Firm
Stomach sleepers: we only recommend the Natural Form Euro to stomach sleepers under 180 lbs, and only if they have a personal preference for softer sleeping surfaces. Others will find that their hips sink in too deep, creating a painful bend in their lower back
