Organic Cotton Cover with Wool Batting: The quilted organic cotton cover adds softness and breathability, while the wool layer acts as a natural flame barrier and moisture regulator. Wool is our favorite material in bedding. It is natural and incredible at wicking away moisture and extra body heat, helping the body to regulate its own temperature, and providing temperature-neutral sleep, no matter the season.
2” Certified Organic Latex: This is the comfort layer in the Happsy mattress. It provides responsive support, contouring to the body while maintaining breathability, thanks to its wide open-cell design. Latex is great material for those looking for healthy support, some bounce making it easy to switch positions, and mild contouring.
8” Pocketed Springs: These individually wrapped coils offer targeted support and motion isolation, ensuring a restful sleep. If you choose the Medium-Firm option, the coils will be harder than in the Plush option, offering that extra bit of spinal support, or plushness.
Organic Cotton Filling: This bottom most layer enhances the plushness and overall eco-friendliness of the mattress.

We have tested the Happsy Mattress in its Medium-Firm firmness option and rated a 6.5/10, making it a very versatile mattress that provides a good amount of pressure relief and support. Note that it can be purchased in Plush, for a noticeably softer feel. |
Thanks to its organic cotton cover quilted with wool, as well as the open-cell latex layer and 8″ of coils, there is plenty of air flowing through the mattress, letting hot body air escape and be replaced with cooler room air. Additionally, the wool allows the body to regulate its own body temperature, avoiding overheating. |
The best way to keep your Happsy Mattress clean is to use a mattress protector, and as needed, to spot-clean it with clean water and a mild detergent. Simply blot the stain (do not rub) until the stain disappears. |
The Happsy Organic Mattress is a great mattress for most back sleepers, for side sleepers over 150 lbs, and those who require some extra support, and stomach sleepers under 180 lbs, who enjoy some soft contouring under the supportive layers. |

Firmness
The Happsy Mattress comes with two choices of firmness: Medium-Firm and Plush. For this review, we have sleep tested the Medium-Firm version.
We have rated it a 6.5 out of 10 on the firmness scale. This level of firmness offers a balanced feel that caters to many sleepers.
Back sleepers will appreciate how it supports spinal alignment. We recommend the Happsy Mattress for back sleepers of all sizes.
Side sleepers will mostly appreciate the combination of pressure relief and support offered by the Happsy Mattress in Medium-Firm, though some lighter-weight side sleepers may be looking for extra plushness. If you are a side sleepers who loves soft mattresses, the Plush version of the Happsy Mattress will be better suited for your needs.
Light-weight stomach sleepers may find that the combination of latex and coils prevents excessive sinking, keeping the hips elevated.However, most stomach sleepers will be looking for a firmer mattress to sleep with an aligned spine.
Combination sleepers should find the Happsy Mattress responsive enough to allow easy movement throughout the night.
Temperature
One of the standout features of the Happsy Mattress is its great temperature regulation.
The use of organic wool and cotton in the cover creates a naturally breathable surface that wicks away moisture. Meanwhile, the organic latex layer and pocketed coils encourage airflow, preventing heat from building up. Lots of air is able to circulate through the coils and up the open-cell latex layer, helping cooler room air reach the body, and hot body air escape down the layers and out through the organic cotton mattress sides.
This makes the Happsy Mattress an excellent choice for hot sleepers or those who live in warmer climates.
Motion Transfer
The Medium-Firm Happsy Mattress performs fairly average in motion isolation, thanks to its pocketed coil system.
The individually wrapped springs help minimize motion transfer, ensuring that partners sharing the bed will not disturb each other with movements during the night. While it may not absorb motion as fully as an all-foam mattress, it strikes a good balance for couples who value responsiveness and support.
Maintenance
Maintaining the Happsy Mattress is straightforward, thanks to its durable materials. It is a single-sided mattress, meaning there is no need to flip it. Rotating the mattress every 3 to 6 months can help prolong its lifespan and ensure even wear.
For cleaning in the event of a spill or stain, the organic cotton cover can be spot-cleaned with mild detergent when needed. Simply use a clean cloth, fresh water, and a mild detergent, and blot the stain. Never rub it, as the stain could spread, and be careful not to over-saturate it with water. Additionally, let it fully dry before adding your sheets back on.

The Happsy Mattress is available in regular household mattress sizes from Twin to California King, and you have the option to choose the firmness level of your choice: Plush or Medium-Firm. The firmness level has no impact on the price of the mattress.
Additionally, at check-out, you may decide to add a 2-inch mattress topper in Plush or Medium-Firm if you are looking for some extra plushness, and a slightly thicker mattress. The topper will run you between $249 and $499, depending on your mattress size.
Shipping and returns are free in the continental United States, with additional delivery fees to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada. Happsy does not currently ship outside of the country, except for Canada.
