Filling: Packed with 100% Washable Wool Fiber, measured at 250 GSM (grams per square meter), this makes the Nest Bedding Wool Comforter naturally temperature-regulating as it is breathable and allows your body to regulate its own temperature. The filling has just the right weight and amount of fill to feel cozy and make you want to snuggle into it.
The wool is processed so that it becomes washable without felting. After collecting, it was thoroughly cleaned and encased in the organic cotton cover using smaller stitched pockets to ensure it remains evenly distributed over night.
This combination leverages the breathable, soft nature of organic cotton and the moisture-wicking, insulating properties of wool—crafted into a lightweight, yet substantial, comforter that sleeps the right temperature all year long.

Softness
The organic cotton shell is manufactured as sateen cotton, which is a thicker, lusher threading method, providing a smooth, satiny feel that feels luxurious and very soft to the skin.
The wool filling gives this Nest Bedding comforter a gentle, cradling warmth without the bulk of heavier comforters. We found it soft and inviting at night, while being less fluffy than a similar down comforter. The loft is a little smaller, yet it offers a very cozy sleep with you want the right amount of warmth without the extra heaviness.
We noticed a very faint wool scent right after unpacking, which went away within 24 hours. Note that the smell was natural and had no chemical scent to it, as mattresses tend to have.

Tumble dry: Tumble dry on low heat and low tumble settings, and be prompt removing it from the dryer. Do not iron.

Note that the initial mild wool-like scent is normal and not cause for alarm—it typically dissipates and we actually like to smell the natural wool right after unpacking it.
