Pillows, they come in different types, forms, sizes, shapes even names!
Whether it’s the shape, form, size or what’s inside of them not all pillows are alike that’s why when it comes to sleeping, there’s no one pillow that’s suitable for everyone.
But which one is the right one for me?
Stomach sleepers do better with SOFT PILLOWS, while side sleepers are best suited for FIRM PILLOWS and back sleepers are better off with a MEDIUM-FIRM pillow for the support of their upper spine.

Construction, structure and parts:
A pillow consists internally of a filler often made of synthetic plastic fibers, down, feathers, viscoelastic foam, foam itself and latex.
Besides being the most expensive and comfortable ones, pillows made of feathers and down tend to offer softness and to conform to shapes desired by the sleeper better than fiber or foam. That doesn’t make them all that perfect, the down sides of down-filled pillows not only they can cause allergic reaction but the manners in which down is procured is considered unethical if you are an animal lover. However there are currently hypoallergenic and cruelty-free varieties of down pillows available to allow people sensitive to down and animal lover to enjoy the comfort of feather or down pillows
The fill is surrounded with a cover also known as the pillow case or pillow slip. Some pillows have a fancier cover called a sham which is closed on all sides and usually has a slit in the back where the pillow is placed. Rectangular standard bed pillow cases usually do not have zippers, but instead have one side open all the time.
A zippered pillow protector or pillow case is often placed around standard pillows with the case in turn covering the protector, I have filmed quiet some of those and they do make the job so easy. While manufacturers suggest tumble-drying every week to keep them fresh and for the heat to kill dust mites It is recommended that all types of pillow covers be washed periodically since they are the part that is in contact with a person’s body and tend to accumulate microbes and dust among the fill.
Did you know that there’s such thing as a Pillow Menu? A pillow menu is a list of available pillows provided by hotels to their guests, usually free of charge. The list includes memory foam pillows, buckwheat hull and hypoallergenic pillows some of them even offer special pillows to treat some conditions such as stress, neck pain and headaches to make your stay more pleasant.
