The matsleep CEO reached out to me to tell me that he liked my review style (you know being non-biased). So, even though they are a newer brand we are going test them out soon.
Delivery is expected to be quick as it is expected on the 18th.
As promised it arrived on the 18th. To my surprise and delight the mattress comes on a box with Wheels. It can make it a bit more dangerous, picture it rolling down some steps. However, I’m a big fan of wheels, imagine how rough commuting would be with square wheels on our cars.
I was a bit surprised by this mattress, at each phase of the testing my love for this mattress grew. First it was, oh cool it has wheels and a handle. Then I was absolutely shocked by how cold the cover was. I actually thought it might be wet and placed a few paper towels on in to see if there was moisture that needed to be cleaned off. Nope! Just a cool tencel cover.
Then I was thinking, it seems a bit too soft, I’ll probably just sink right in. Nope, it’s firm enough that I didn’t fall through. If you use the coupon below the Matsleep Queen will be only $595, and it is going to be hard to find a mattress of this quality in that price range. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase, but if it just doesn’t work for you they offer a 365 day trial period. What’s to lose?
This may stir up the love/hate debate in the bed in a box world. The Matsleep has both wheels and a handle! So I love that, I’m tiny and I need all the help I can get moving these things around.

The hate part of the debate doesn’t really apply to me as I don’t have stairs in my house. There is a bit of a danger element if you are pulling on the handle and trying to drag it up the stairs like using the wheels like a dolly. It’s in a cardboard box so it is very possible that the handle could pop off and send the box downstairs and you on your butt holding the handle. It may actually make quite the viral video, but I’m not sure I want to risk tumbling down the stairs with it. My rental house has stairs, perhaps I’ll do that in the future?
What’s inside the box?
Look at my face when I discover how cold the cover is (I live in Arizona, so it’s not like the mattress was stored in a freezer). Still in a bit of awe over just this one thing. Out of all of the mattresses I have tested, none have had a cover/first layer that is this cold.
