The Aricove Weighted Blanket is made of natural bamboo and hypoallergenic microfiber. Those two materials work together to provide cool moisture-wicking and thermoregulating sleep. Natural bamboo also sleeps incredibly soft and cozy, and is one of earth’s most eco-conscious material used in bedding. While the microfiber adds plushness to the blanket.
The weight of the Aricove Weighted Blanket comes from superfine glass beads, secured in double diamond-stitched pockets to ensure the weight remains evenly distributed throughout the night.
Most Weight Choices
One very unique thing about the Aricove Weighted Blanket, which we have not yet seen in any other brands, is the ability to choose from unique weights for the blanket. On top of the regular 10, 15, and 20 lbs, you can pick from a 12-lb or 17-lb weighted blanket, to better target your exact body weight and preferences. Additionally, a smaller 5-lb weighted blanket is available for children (brands usually target kids with a 10-lb blanket, so this smaller weight is very much welcome!)

Aricove believes that each partner should use his/her own weighted blanket to rip the full benefits and receive the coziest experience possible. For that reason, they do not offer weighted blankets heavier than 20 lbs, and all are 48″ x 71″, which is the best size for a single sleeper.
If you purchase the kids weighted blanket, which weighs just 5 lbs, the size is smaller, at 36″ x 48″.

Both can be washed in your washing machine on the 90-degree cycle, and tumble dried on low tumble (or flat dried if you prefer). We recommend using the Weighted Blanket Cover to avoid having to wash the heavy weighted blanket. If you must, please check the weight limit on your washing machine to make sure you do not break the tumble. |

We are big fans of weighted blankets. Their weight naturally brings calm and relieves stress and anxiety, helping to fall asleep faster and deeper, and stay asleep longer. After your body is fully used to sleeping under a weighted blanket (about a week), you will notice that you do not need to sleep as long, to feel well rested in the morning.

The Aricove Weighted Blanket is a pretty straight forward blanket. Its cover is made of 100% natural bamboo fibers and hypoallergenic microfiber. Both fibers work with your body as clean and cool-sleeping materials. Expect your body’s extra moisture to be wicked away quickly, helping your body regulate its own temperature to perfection, so you neither sleep hot, nor cold. Because the bamboo fibers are hypoallergenic, they work great for people who suffer from allergies and/or skin conditions.
Aricove uses its own double-diamond stitch design to ensure the superfine glass beads remain in place while you sleep, ensuring even weight distribution throughout the night. The design ensures perfect body contouring for a cozy night of sleep.
The weight comes from micro glass beds, which let lots of air flow through the blanket and ensure the Aricove Weighted Blanket is neither bulky nor heat-trapping.

The Aricove Weighted Blanket Cover is designed specifically for the Aricove Weighted Blanket. It measures an extra 2 inches in length and width, for the unexpected even that it shrinks with its first washes.
The Weighted Blanket Cover itself is made of 100% bamboo, which gives it its ultra soft and light feeling, leaving you sleeping cool on hot nights, and warm and cozy on cold nights.
Inside the Aricove Weighted Blanket Cover you will find 10 bamboo buttons to secure the weighted blanket to its cover and further ensure even weight distribution during the night.
Lastly, the Weighted Blanket Cover comes in a cloth branded tote, so you can take it with you anywhere you go. My recommendation is to simply leave the cover attached to the weighted blanket if you travel. Once covered, the Aricove Weighted Blanket will still fit perfectly well in its own travel tote.
How Does The Aricove Weighted Blanket Sleep?
Softness
The outside cover of the Aricove Weighted Blanket is made of bamboo fibers, which are some of the softest fibers in the bedding industry. You can expect a very soft and cozy sleep, further enhanced by the Aricove Weighted Blanket Cover if you decide to add it around your blanket.
Temperature
Because the Aricove Weighted Blanket is made of bamboo, its moisture-wicking properties help your body self-regulate its temperature to keep you at the temperature that feels right to YOU!
Additionally, thanks to the large amount of air in the micro glass beads, there is plenty of air flow going through the blanket as you sleep at night, ensuring you sleep temperature neutral, no matter your bedroom temperature.
Weight
The blanket’s weight is very evenly distributed. The glass pellets are securely fastened inside the Aricove double-diamond stitching pattern. If you use the Aricove Weighted Blanket Cover (highly recommended), you will love the 10 buttons that ensure the weighted blanket does not shift inside its cover, for an evenly-distributed weight, even with a cover on.
One thing we love about the Aricove Weighted Blanket is the large number of weight options. You can really customize the weight of your Aricove blanket based on your own body weight and preferences. How Do I Care For My Aricove Weighted Blanket And Bamboo Blanket Cover?
Both products are incredibly easy to clean, since machine washable.
The Aricove Weighted Blanket can be entirely thrown in the washing machine when comes time to wash. Before you do, however, make sure to check your machine’s maximum load to ensure you do not break the tumble. Wash your weighted blanket on its own on warm (90 degrees), and you can dry on low tumble, or flat dry (just make sure not to hang dry).
The Aricove Weighted Blanket Cover is made of 100% natural bamboo fibers, which makes its maintenance very easy as well. We recommend using the bamboo cover to avoid having to wash the bulkier weighted blanket. For the cover, simply throw in your washing machine on warm and tumble dry on low.
Ideal Weight For Weighted Blankets
The general rule of thumb for the ideal weight for weighted blankets for adults is 10% of your body weight, plus or minus a couple of pounds. For children, you will find that they generally enjoy 10% to 30% of their body weight on them. Before letting a child sleep with a weighted blankets, ensure that they can safely remove themselves from the blanket on their own!!
Let’s look at an example for most adults: you weigh 150 lbs and 10% of your body weight is 15 lbs. If you add or remove a couple of pounds, the ideal weight for your weighted blanket would likely be 13 lbs to 17 lbs.
The other way to think about this is to look at a 15-lb weighted blanket. It would comfortably soothe a person weighing between 130 and 170 pounds.
Your preference in terms of weight and hugging sensation will impact the ideal weight for your weighted blanket. Most importantly, you need to be able to remove the blanket from your body unassisted.
